If you upgraded your vehicle WITHOUT upgrading the insurance...the upgrades aren't necessarily covered (unless the insurance company specifically indicated that the extras didn't need additional coverage.) At least with the Insurance companies I've dealt with they usually ask "has the vehicle been modified in anyway?" when first insuring the vehicle. Later, if modifications ARE done, it is up to you to notify the insurance company. |
