Hello from Atlanta, Ga. I am a Vanagon sinner---I mistakenly switched the three leads on my coil on one of our '81's, tried to start the van, and no go, of course. I caught my mistake, switched them back and no go. I then swapped my ECU, double relay, air box from my miswired van into my running van and they worked fine. Coil appears to fire ok. I have no power at the fuel pump in the non running van. No fuses blown in the fuse block. I replaced points and condenser in sick van.... Questions: Is there some form of fusible link wire that burned out? Is there an in line fuse? Did I fry the FI harness? Any ideas? Thanks! Regards, Mike Nichols 2--'81's |
