I've noticed the same w/ my starter. What I found is that my charging system won't give the battery a full charge, and if if put it on the charger once per month it solves the problem. I've replaced the alternator (I liked the original one better), and cleaned the ground connections at the battery, battery box and the tranny strap. It still needs to be brought up to full charge once per month. ~Dan ----- Original Message ----- From: "mike" <mwmiller@CWNET.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Monday, June 17, 2002 4:43 PM Subject: Starter hesitation
