Thanks Craig, Tom and Chris, (and Derek Drew) for all that good information about how to proceed on this. Right now I am doing nothing to let it stew for a few days. I may wait for the adjuster to call me back. Sounds like waiting is the key. I can wait. I can afford to foot the bill ahead of time to get at least the body work done. The adjuster seemed really intent on the fact that the VIN showed just a plain old Vanagon, not a GL Camper Wolfsburg. Do I have an argument that it doesn't really matter? That the vehicle's fair market value before the crash is what is relevant? Edward |
