i looked through my local paper this morning and i saw somebody selling a 1984 westy. he was asking 800.00 obo he was out of town but he called me back and told me the vechile was left open if i wanted to look at it. As soon as i pulled down the street to where it was parked i saw why he was asking such a low price. On the lower half of the driver side 4 inches up above the propane tank a big dent which was follwed by in the dent a gash and a little bit of seem rust. the under carriage was clean so was the engine compartment the interior was nice i raised the pop top that was clean maybe 2-3 little holes in the canvas no big deal the pop top seal needed to be replaced it had about 171,000 miles on a manual transmissions all in all it was in good shape should i jump on the deal i think i can get it for less than 800 what does the group think sam 76 vw bus 71 squareback |
