Exactly the problem. The LED panel does not even read the correct water level. All of the wiring is intact going to the water tank. But the LED relay on the tank must be sending the wrong info to the LED. I guess I could override the safety. Is this done at the LED panel? If you've got instructions I'm very interested. Could I also fix this by replacing the relay that is sending to the LEDs?

Is the black relay box near the water tank the part that disables the water pump when the water is low?

See the posts regarding the LED panel. You may have the older 80/81 panel with an extra feature to prevent the pump from burning out by being run with an empty tank. If you have 2 red LEDs at the bottom of the left row then this is the case. Later models have green at the bottom and 1 red just above the green.

You can easily override the pump voltage cutoff circuit with a little soldering. Is this something you can and wish to do? I did this when I installed an early type panel in my 87.
