Subject: new van! & haines, bentley, owners manual?
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Well I just purchased a new vdub this weekend. A nice litte 84 Vanagon Wolfsburg Edition. Recently had a new engine & transmission dropped in it & now all the little stuff is left to me. Probably have a decent amount of questions (some more stupid than others) over the course of the next couple months as I get it up to par for the next big drive back to school so you guys'll have to bear with me & remember I'm the future Vanagon old-timer =)

Anyway, the yahoo I bought it from pulled a fast one on me & slipped in an 84 Vanagon owners manual. Obviously it's similar to the Wolfy but not the same so I was wondering if anyone had one of those available - possibly for trade? I also have a Haines 80-83 2.0L air-cooled Vanagon book if very good shape if someone would be interested in buying or, preferably, trading it for the 84 water-cooled one (bentley or haines) that I need. If someone can't make that happen, I'd like to pick one up anyway so let me know if you've got one floating around that I can take off your hands.

Thanks a bunch guys - you're the best!

-Andrew
