$2100.00: I have a 1984 GL Passenger Van (non-Westy) for sale. I know nothing about this van, as I bought it in February and have not had the time nor inclination to make it a daily driver. It has 156K miles and is in average to good condition. 4 spd manual, AC, 1.9 waterboxer. Little dents and rust (a little primer). Starts and runs OK, but need some attention.

$1100.00: I have a 1983 GL Passenger Van (non-Westy) for sale. 4 spd manual, no AC, 1.9 waterboxer. I know almost the complete history of this van, as I was the second owner and put the second 100K miles on it. It has 200K miles and is in average to good condition with the following exceptions: clutch/transmission problem, crack in front windshield, and fuel tank leak. This was my daily driver for five years, but one day the clutch failed to disengage the transmission. My first thought was a failed clutch master or slave cylinder. Both work fine, so not sure what the problem is. The gas tank leaks gas if completely filled.

I will sell both for $3,000.00 or just the '84. I will not sell the '83 alone (I will keep it for parts or to fix up at some point in the way distant future).

I can e-mail pics, or answer any additional questions. Both vans are in Indy.

Send e-mail to vanagon40@aol.com for faster reply, as e-mail will not get lost in high volume list.
