POR-15 over paint is wasted $$ IMO. It is really for treating metal and thats what i used it for. What do you mean by "diaper"?

My westy has about a half gallon of POR-15 in its seams (they ALL were rusty) I sandblasted first(used 6 bags of sand!) Used "metal Prep"(acid etching compound) then POR-15 and primer.......Its been about a year and a half and some areas are starting to rust again(where water accumulates, like the seams below air intake holes)

If I were to do it again I would have used a two part epoxy paint instead, REALLY THICK stuff

My 2cents

Phil
