ummm... all vanagons have the rear window defroster... even the lowliest of models. chris

Actually not quite...maybe Vanagons (ie.Nth American spec vehicles) came with a rear window defroster as std equipment but there is a whole range of T3 Transporter commercial vehicles out there in the rest ofthe big ol'world that didn't...Panelvans,window panelvans,hi-top panelvans,singlecab pickups,doublecab pickups etc etc...

It may have been an option on such vehicles but it wasn't automatically included otherwise.... Caravelles & Carats were a different matter of course...
