Either the manual or the camper supplement for my '86 said that I should only use "dry shampoo". Now, I wasn't going to use REAL poo, but neither do I like the idea of dry poo, sham or real. So, I spot tested with my Bissell, and it seems to do OK. Just don't put too much cleaner concentrate in, and don't linger in one spot, so the seat won't get soaked... which is probably one of the reasons they want you to use dry 'poo. Also, maybe steaming removes the Scotchguard, assuming there was any left after 15 years. -Simon '86 GL Westy Syncro mit geblasener vorderer Schlaganfeuchter
