Subject: Aux batt. wiring ?

I installed two new batteries this weekend, the auxilliary was installed for the first time. To have the sink light powered by the auxilliary battery as well as the dash I moved one heavy wire from the main battery, pulling it out of the right-hand batt. carrier and running up into a new hole in the left-hand batt. carrier to the + on the aux. battery. Now I believe starting and charging are the only circuits tied to the main battery.

Quite slick. Anyone see a reason to not run this way?
