Sorry about no Vanagon content, but I did not know where else to turn. Here's the deal:

Father's Day, so I thought I would take it easy and putter around on my cars. I recharged the AC on my Chevy van, w/ no problem.

Then, I moved to my 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX.

I changed the oil and filter. As I'm adding oil, I changed the AC ports to switch to R134a. I added 12 oz of 134a and then attempted to start the car. NO GO!!!

The engine turns with no problem, but no spark. I really did not mess with anything other than the oil change and the AC fittings. I looked really close at where the AC fittings were to make sure I had not bumped or otherwise disturbed any wiring, but I see nothing out of place.

I relieved all the pressure in the AC system to make sure I had not somehow tripped an overpressure switch (I do not even know that there is one).

Does anyone have any ideas?

Does anyone know of another mailing list for Mitsubishis?

I've owned this car for 6 months/10,000 miles, and it has always started and run great.

I'm clueless.
