As I recall the manual says to allow your engine to idle for 3 minutes before shutting down if you are running in very hot weather or after a long run.

The heads are really hot then and if you just suddenly shut down that heat is not allowed to dissapate, so it boils the water, makes steam which inturn pushs your coolant out.
