Ok folks im trying to figure out why so many of us are blowing expensive PS racks. BenT suggested that the pump may be putting out too much pressure blowing the seals on the rack. This makes sense especially since Bentley says that the appropriate pressure should be around 1500 PSI! Holy gusheepers! The PS pump also has a pressure limiting valve that may be failing causing the PS rack failures. So my question is how do we test the output PSI of the pump? Bentley does not show any special tool for this. I have never seen a pressure gauge that goes this high. Thanks for the advise. Thanks, Andrew Fox 86 Westy on its 3rd PS rack |
