Ok, I just replaced the head gasket in my '86 Diesel Double Cab. Now the Low-Level Coolant Indicator is blinking away. It did not do this before the head gasket replacement. The reservoir and level indicator are fairly new (3 months). I flushed all the old coolant out (it looked fine - no sediment or rust). I chose NOT to use the VW blue coolant (I'm using regular Prestone). I've bled all the air from the system. Reservoir is full to the cap. The temperature gauge reads as it always has (just to the right of the blinker). The radiator fan comes on every once in a while, as usual. Everything seems fine, except that dang blinking LED! If I bypass the sensor, should the LED stop blinking? What else could be causing blinking? Any suggestions for what else to check? Thanks, Maynard Southard (OvO) '79 '86 Double Cab Diesel "Col.
