I recently replaced the window regulator on the drivers' side, as the cable guides had worn out and given way. You may be able to do as Hector said and remove the motor and turn it by hand to get it to the up position. The PO of my van had used a tek screw drilled into the regulator slide to keep the window in the up position until some hapless soul like myself happened along...at which point I discovered that a new regulator was ~$165.00 at the dealer. Gotta replace as a unit. Ouch. Works great now though! Of course now the passenger side PW seems slow in comparison.
