Hello listers, I've moved the focus of my Vanagon refit to the outer shell and frame. After what I deem as a successful venture on the interior, it was only natural that I harbor a bit of "unbridled excitement" upon moving to the final stages of my resto. But I've been met with FAR more rust than I had originally expected or perceived. Granted it is isolated to only a few areas, but the concentration is staggering. My major dilemna is the difficulty I am experiencing accessing the some damaged areas. Deep in the frame, or behind body panels are a few of the "lost worlds" I am confronted with. Suggestions are, of course, always welcome. But I'd also find simular stories resulting in success to be very inspirational. Tell me it's not over! heh I am not happy at the prospect of having to slice the van in half and pull from a junk yard. Many thanks.
