I bought an 86 Vanagon last Sept. and have been learning about cooling systems. I have replaced several hoses and the radiator. Now I am seeing the system pressurize and push the coolant below the level probe. It will not take any coolant from the overflow bottle and sometimes it actually overflows. Being new to water cooled VW, I need some advice on where to proceed. Is this air in the system or the dreaded head gaskets? Your wisdom is truly appreciated. Brian Gillespie gillespie_b@msn.com
