Has anyone installed lowered springs on their Vanagon that gives the van a lower center of gravity for increased road handling And then installed the new air shocks that are used by people with "low rider" type vehicles.....you know 24-inch wheels with super low profile tires on their Escalade.......these guys can go from low rider to high rider very quickly. I was thinking this could help the Vanagon handle really well when it's slammed to the ground.....and then when you get to an area where you need more ground clearance, you just raise the car to your desire.........kind of like an Audi A4 ALLROAD
