But there is such a thing as graphite grease and it used in CV joints, as is moly gease. I would take good not of VW's specs, but whatever you do, as with any other bearing, NEVER, EVER FILL IT COMPLETELY UP. Always leave a considerabel air gap for heat, expansion and re-mixing.
