Subject: Dashboard light filters and a relay on the dashboard light circuit

Hi,

Has anyone had experience with filters to change the colour of your dashboard lights? I would be interested in hearing your comments. The ones available here in Australia are made by Narva and slip over the globe itself. The colours available are green, blue, orange and red. If so, which colours work the best?

Has anyone thought of putting a relay on the dash board lighting circuit to boost the output (brighten the dashboard lights) or is the voltage reduced somewhere in the circuit?

TIA

Chris
