Subject: VDO dual pressure oil sender
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I didn't save the original post on this subject. I'm using the same type VDO dual Idiot Light and Pressure Gauge sender on a T connector on the end of a grease gun flexible hose. I've still got the original sender and the dual sender on the T. I found that an additional ground wire needs to go from the engine to the chasis to get accurate readings. This is true even if you go directly into the block with the sender. Don't expect these VDO gauges to be 100% accurate. I can get different readings on CHT, Oil Temp and Oil Pressure just by changing gauges with the exact same gauge.
