Just wondering, why would you want to do that? I always turn my dash lights way down--in my H*nda they are set as low as they can go.

Bright dash lights distract your eyes and reduce your night vision. A very dim glow is perfectly readable at night, and warning lights blaze bright regardless of the dash light illumination level. I set the dash lights to the minimum level required to read the essential gauges, and leave my eyes better adjusted to see the dark road ahead.

Stay safe at night and watch out for those bear and deer!
