In case I wasn't clear, my description of the difference between the Boge High Performance Springs and the H&R's was based on customers' reports, some of which are in the list archives. (I personally have the Boges on my van, not the H&R's, so most of my description dealt with them.) So yes, it is user opinion, nothing more. That they make the van sit lower is a fact, however. Incidentally, both the H&R's and the Boges are progressive springs.

I am not knocking the H&R's at all. As I said, I personally would not want a lower or stiffer spring than the Boges. But as I also quickly hastened to add, my tastes lean toward stock. Others would feel differently. Robert in NC is a perfect example of an opposing point of view. Robert's van is completely souped up and tricked out. He wants something completely different than I do from my Westy. As I said in my post, "that's why there's chocolate and vanilla." So, no reason to get defensive. This is not a case of good vs. bad. Both are good, just different. Besides, yours was free. Can't beat that. :-)
