Just to clarify, they put the van's ride height at about the same as a Carat, but they are not the same springs. Although it's been a while since I drove a Carat, I'm pretty sure that the stock Carat springs are a bit softer.

No, actually I didn't mean this as a comparison to the H&R's. I just meant that on my van the Boges feel a bit stiffer than stock but not objectionably so. But in re-reading it, I do see how it could have been misconstrued.

In a nutshell, these Boges could be called a mild performance spring. Just a bit - not drastically- stiffer and lower than stock. That's all I was trying to get at. My goal in sourcing these was to offer an affordable alternative to the $1200 dealer price, for people whose vans had saggy springs like mine did. I mostly sell stock replacement parts, so I was looking fo a good OEM replacement, not a product that made any dramatic changes to the way the van looked, felt, or handled. In fact, I chose the Boges because they were closer to stock than the other alternatives I found. While their mild performance improvement is nice (and I must admit I do like the slightly squatter "Carat" look), the biggest benefit is probably derived simply from the fact that they are brand new and not 100k miles old.
