Congrats Jim!!! You are absolutely right about each child being different. My experience is... Son #1 ...Home in 74 MGB with the top down (Sept. 1977) w/ Chick Corea Son #2 ...ditto ( July 1979) w/ Jean Luc Ponte Son #3 ...Home in my 1981 Vanagon (March 1985)... w/ John Prine Son #4 ...ditto three days later ... w/ Todd Rundgren or Frank Zappa Son #5 ...Home in the wife's Saturn (Sept. 2001) The Van's AC was out and none in the '84 Westy. (Wife only rides in the Rabbit when absolutely necessary. No Way with her newborn!)... w/ news about 9-11 :( Oh Brother Where Art Thou? in the CD player.

The two older sons still keep pretty good company in music and cars... #1 Drives a 98GTi VR6...does lots of my old stuff with some rave thrown in. #2 Drives a 92Jetta GL ( has a 68 K. Ghia) is a bit more conservative w/Bella Fleck and Dr Didj (sp). #3 & #4 Drive a 90 Jetta GL and I don't even want to talk about their music yet; although I did catch them with a Moby CDlast month. #5 Likes Raffi. -- Stephen Steele* Chillicothe OH '91 Caravelle "Hans" '87 Westy "Franz" '84 Westfalia "Fritz" '81 Diesel Rabbit "Ol' Yeller" by PO '82 Caddy VW Diesel P.U.
