I feel like the fact that they think the van is just a basic vanagon (or at
least are trying to say that at this point) is their mistake or fraud, not
mine.  The van was built as a GL Wolfsburg Weekender.  The only upgrading I
have done is to add the stove and sink cabinet.  I feel like the rest of my
interior swapping was really more of a "restoration" than an "upgrade."  I
took out trashy, worn out interior and put in similar pieces in much better
condition.   My contention is that as a GL Wolfsburg Weekender in good
condition, with 172,000 miles on it, with AT and AC, that $3000-3500  is a
more realistic value than $1200-1400.
