Subject: Things to do: Replica of Columbus' Nina in SF Bay
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" ; format="flowed"

Guys 'n Gals, The accurate replica of Christopher Columbus' Nina is at the Port of Redwood City. Can be seen 9am-7pm through this Sunday, 6/30.

No information or directions on the port's web site:

If you need directions, try this Yahoo map:

<http://maps.yahoo.com/py/maps.py?Pyt=Tmap&addr=Seaport+Ct.&city=Redwood+City&state=CA&csz=Redwood+City,+CA+94063&slt=37.503066&sln=-122.211762&name=&zip=94063&country=us&&BFKey=&BFCat=&BFClient=&mag=8&desc=&cs=9&newmag=9&poititle=&poi=&ds=n>

There's a story about the replica Nina in the Port's newsletter (an Acrobat Reader pdf file):

It is supposedly bound for Stockton, CA and then for Portland, OR. Then south again through the Panama to spend the winter in the Caribbean. (Oh, to be an old ship!)

(Automotive content: they've added a MB 6-cylinder diesel engine for use in the doldrums. Seriously!)
