Jim, some early models have the fridge relay mounted on the top of the fridge unit (inside, under the stove) with all the other fridge switches, controls, and wiring. These models also do not have the 2 fuses mounted behind the driver's seat near the door frame. I recall there being one inline type fuse holder under the driver's seat. This is another of the many minor failings of the Bentley wiring diagrams. The Vanagon Bentley has only one wiring diagram listed for "Camper 80-85" but these years are not actually all identical. To see the original Camper wiring diagram with the fridge relay mounted inside the kitchen cabinet you have to look at an older version of the Bentley. My 80-87 Bentley has the older diagram labeled for all "80-85 Campers" while my 80-91 Bentley has the later one labeled for all "80-85 Campers". Mark |
