I just did mine using only a large vise(bolted to the floor)It was a breeze....but fitting the A-arm wishbone back to the Vanagon was harder. i used a dremel to grind off old spot welds. When pressing the bushings with the floor vise, I used various sized steel shims/blocks to get every thing straight. I greased the old bushings before pressing out. Once pressed in, I Got our welder the spot weld them. When welding, make sure you dont get the bushing too hot becouse this melts the urethane inner bushing(mine are urethane NOT rubber) The only problem i have is, I think the new bushings I bought from Ken are slightly different size than the old ones(shorter)The A-arm has alot of play unless fully tightened down on the spindle nut. ALSO, I think i might of screwed up putting the eccentric washers in becouse one is not flush with the spindle hole. I gave up and Im going to limp my westy to an alignment master come monday. Hopefully I can sort things out. Laters Phil Stanhope 84' Westy Tiico "Millenium Falcon"
