For years you could open our 85 Westy with a screw driver or anything else. SO I decided to treat myself to new locks. After several emails back and forth, I pulled the handles off and sent them all together with my best key to Steve Sandlin. In a couple of days, the handles were back and worked beautifully. Our baby now locks. The whole deal cost less than $100 with express shipping - cheaper than handle sets go on Ebay and this did not require me to take out the ignition switch. I wanted to pass along this pleasant and worthwhile experience.
