Hey fellow volks lovers.......

Well I did it! I found another bus! It is a '82 Westfalia; Aswan brown; new heads on engine; new clutch; air-cooled; 90,000 miles on the original engine which is the one in it. I will have to replace the canvas on the pop-top, the rear hatch seal, and windshield. It is good to have the '84 Wolfsburg parts bus at a time like this!

This new bus also just "came" to me, kinda like the last one I bought (the '84 Wolfsburg, aka, "NutherBus). Anyway, a woman at work asked me about one of my J&Lynn tie-dyed shirts one day at work so I told her about the Full Moon Bus Club. Well, she said that her husband had a VW bus at their house that was just sitting under a tree. Being the Bus-aholic I am, I asked her if they wanted to sell it. I went to look at it last Saturday. The bus runs good and will be no problem getting it on the road for a campout soon (I hope). Maybe I will have it at High Country Bus Fest in July. And I got it all for $1,400. That is pretty good, I think.

I will have a dark blue '84 Wolfsburg Weekender for sale soon and maybe the parts bus, as well. I really gotta get back to owning ONE bus, ya know? Then mabe in another year or two, ya never know, maybe there will be another bus out there that needs a home, huh?

See y'all soon at High Country Bus Festival in beautiful Boone, North Carolina.........Rodney
