Subject: Nicest Vanagon I've Ever Seen!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

This past weekend, I was at the ALMS race at Mid Ohio and saw the nicest Vanagon I've ever seen. This van was immaculate. I put some pictures up at photos.yahoo.com/ctbtyper in the "ALMS Van" folder. I have some questions about it:

Are these Ronals the R9 model, as seen at the Vanagon Cafe website? Do they still make those? These looked fantastic on the bus, very similar to the wheels AMG used to use on their modified Mercedes back in the 80's. Tires were 225/55-16.

Is this van as-produced by VW? It merely said "Vanagon Carat" on the rear - I've never seen an all-white Vanagon like this before. This van was gorgeous. It appeared to have lower springs on it, unless that is how low VW made them in later years.

Thanks!

Chris
