When I bought my last set of Michelin MXT's this is the way it was. No one had them in stock, and they had to be requested from a Michelin Warehouse by the tire outlet, and Michelin would only release them if the tires were to be mounted specifically on a Vanagon, nothing else. The tire dealer had to guarantee this to Michelin. This was two years ago, and now it appears there simply aren't any more MXT's anywhere.
