Before I start with my next question, thanks to everyone who responded to my question about a Vanagon blowing wiper fuses every 10 minutes. That said, I've read a number of documents online about what to look for generally in used vanagons/cars in general. What (beyond the head gasket issues) did the 84 GL model have in terms of quirk problems that I should be aware of? Also, if I find that this one is going to be too much in the way of mechanical work off the bat, any suggestions on where to hunt down an '84 or later vanagon at a reasonable price? Thanks in advance Eustacec "Yeah well, sometimes nothing can be a pretty cool hand." |
