The tiny tube of yellow sealer is for the nuts that hold the head on. Make sure the nuts are clean and dry, even in the threaded holes (use q-tips). Then put a continuous bead of the yellow stuff on the wide flat part of the nut mating surface before installing the nuts. Do not get any on the threads. This sealing area is very important as the head bolts pass through the water jackets. The nut sealer keeps coolant in the jacket. If the sealer leaks, coolant will either drip out or get mixed up with the engine oil and cause a disaster. 4 nuts on each head are inside of the valve cover. These would leak into the oil area and ruin the oil, possibly un-noticed until too late.
