I was going to Newfoundland too this summer, but I'm postponing it for a year till they get the road fixed up in Labrador that links Cartwright to Blac Sablon in Quebec, then one can drive up from the St. Lawrance seaway (Quebec town of Baie-Comeau) to Goose Bay. Then a short ferry ride from Goose Bay to the coast town of Cartwright then drive down the coast of Labrador from Cartwright to the Lab-Quebec border town of Blac Sablon and then a short ferry ride over to Newfoundland town of St. Barbe then around Newfy and the ferry back to Cape Bretton in NS. That way it is a loop trip and would be very interesting.
