Talking of environmentally friendly gas consumption, my friend Carmen just came back from the philippines (that's where she's from), and one of her friend is this really interesting philippino inventor who's been perfecting a kit -- for the last 30 years -- that will allow a regular engine to run on regular tap/salt water through electrolysis. I just saw the initial promo video on Monday night, and it's quite impressive. 1 liter of water for 1 hour of driving, no emissions (other than water). Many car companies have visited this guy, but he's always felt that the deals they proposed to him were not in humanity's favor (rather in the company's favor, no surprise there). He wants his invention to benefit humanity, and especially his country. So he's creating 100 engines that he'll be sending to every country so that they can copy and develop his invention to everyone's benefit. Anyway, we'll have a website up in a few days/weeks, or if anyone is interested, for a few dollars you could have a copy of the video. And if you feel you have contacts with influencial people who could truly help this guy, please let me know! A bientot, Philippe |
