Laura, I had also tried another brand besides the Beck Arnely about $60 US, I think it was STANDARD , but it failed after an 8 K mile tour of the US. It gave up at 7K miles while I was climbing up to Denver. I was pulling a trailer and had been running for two days and it was summer-- I think it was just the heat that got it.
