After installing my new SS header kit, my '88 ran great. But after a month or so, the performance diminished. I can't seem to find an exhaust leak to explain an 02 sensor problem, so I try an experiment; disconnect the 02 sensor. Now, the van runs great, even when cold. If I run like this permanently, can I damage anything? Can I get the emissions checked to tell me if the fuel/air mix is OK? If not, where do I make the adjustments? Thanks Brian Doss '88 Weekender, Queequeg |
