Al- I got my hoses from a hardware store. They are 3/8" I.D. (inner diameter). When you pull the old ones out use a connector and feed the new one in. There are two little black clips that hold the hoses away from the frige and can be reached by opening the city water connection on the outside. If you don't feed the new one in when you take the old one out I don't know how hard it would be....but very hard I imagine. Also I always drink from my water tank.
