get some chrome spraypaint and paint the cap, then
immediately wipe lots of the paint off.

this has the effect of wiping off the paint from the
raised 'oil' marker but not the surrounding cap (if
you do it right).

in this way, you make sure the gas station cretin does
not put gasoline into your engine oil, unless they are
double extra stupid©™

or, if you're handy, get a can of paint and paint
chrome or yellow or something bright over the raised
oil marker.

a "don't put gas here, stupid!" sign stuck above the
cap wouldn't hurt.
