Subject: '85 Vanagon Sunroof - DUMPING!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hey, I just wanted to send those of you who helped me today with my sunroof a brief note of thanks. I've decided, from a compilation of list advice, to go ahead an replace both seals, snake my drain holes once again...and see what happens. Hopefully, the new seals will prevent enough water that the drain holes will be able to handle the reduced amount of rain that will get into the track. I hope. Otherwise, I'm gonna be seriously stumped. And yes, in response to Mike and Christy Nichols in Atlanta (Hey! good to meet you), the sunroof is closing all the way...popping up and meeting flush with the roof just fine. I believe it has got to be the seals. As long as my holes are clear, I cannot possibly imagine what else it would be.

I'm going to start calling this list the "Central Brain" of VW information.....

Thanks again,

Dustin - '85 Vanagon - "Chuba"
