Some of us 'old timers' spent a lot of time working at the gas station in
the late 60's, early 70's. For me, it was in NJ. It wasn't until the 'gas
crisis' in the 70's that people started pumping their own gas.

It wasn't so bad, it was a job, and sometimes that 'large breasted
blonde,' who was recently spoken of, would show up and make it worthwhile
:-)

Of course that was when the driver would ask for $3 worth of regular, and
it would fill their tanks........
