My daughter's '87 does this.  I found the source by first drying the area
out, then taking a hose and spraying small areas around the outside of the
van.  Like at the door seals, windows, etc.  I found that if I flooded the
area above the driver's side headlight it would get to the floor.  She moved
to Arizona before I found it, but I figured it was running down some wiring.
Hers has had the front end re-constructed, so I don't know what seals might
be missing.

BTW, she has moved back and I plan to get back onto the problem.  So please
post your findings.  I know of other members who have had the same problem.

Greetings all:
On a recent very long haul, including five straight days of steady rain in
Quebec and Ontario, I noticed that my '87 Westy tends to collect water in
the passenger side footwell, near the depression for the door step. The
driver's side stays dry, but the passenger side gets soaked through the
carpet. I'm thinking it might be a bad door seal, perhaps the window trim,
or maybe a plugged door drain. Any one have similar problems?
