Volks, I saw a product at a FLAPS the other day that was basically a bunch of plastic "push pins" with a colored flat head. The idea was to use them, spaced appropriately for visual appearance, to hold the headliner up. I have no clue what they were supposed to pin into but it was a packaged product specifically for this problem. There were even different colored ones for various colored headliners.
