Dave, did you change your fuel injector seals? I just ordered new ones at $0.80 a piece. The seals haven't arrived yet. I have the same problem as you with the idle hunting. Last night when I changed my intake manifold gasket, I took off the injectors from the intake manifold and loosened the manifold a bit. I then slipped the right gasket between the intake manifold and the cylinder head. At least, I think it was the right gasket. http://communitybuilders.dhs.org/craigoda/vw/intakemanifold/index.html

When I started it up again, it was a bit worse. I'm now thinking that my fuel injector seals are leaking. Well, at this stage I'm starting to run out of ideas.

My van runs fine when it is hot. I changed my auxiliary air regulator about 2 months ago.

After breakfast I'm going to change my radiator fan switch and a light switch. Will I ever fix all the problems?????? Well, off to lunch. Keep me informed of your idle hunting problem. I _really_ want to solve mine...
