Morning everyone! I was messing around with the batteries in our Westy last night and discovered something peculiar. I wanted to run it by all of you to see if everything is kosher.
I had the fridge running in 110V mode last night, the fan was running and all seemed good. I was surprised however, when I unhooked the battery and the fan stopped. I dis/re -connected the battery several times and the fan would run/not run accordingly. Apparently the fan on the fridge is only 12 volt. I was operating under the assumption that the fan was dual voltage depending on what mode the fridge was running in. Is my fridge running properly or is something in it's wiring snafu?? Doesn't it seem that this would be hard on batteries??? I'm wondering if this wasn't some of the cause of my battery drain??? |
