My Weddle rebuilt and regeared trans with the 6.17 r+p was delivered today, Derek is installing the other half of the 6.17 r+p set into a SA locker front diff as we speak, and the 235/70/16 BFG Mud-Terrain KMs are mounted on the CV900 16"x6.5"/30ET wheels, ready for installation. This will be the fourth time I've swapped a syncro trans, so I'm beginning to think I've been down lots of blind alleys before and it should go smoothly. I've never done a front diff swap, though I have replaced the VC once. Anyone in the Washington DC area that wants to come over to take a look/lend a hand is welcome. Same venue as the Mid-Atlantic Holiday Fest. Rites will be held in my nice shady garage- the Westie will fit below the door frame even with the new wheels! It's finally coming together... I am pretty excited!
